A phone costs several times more than everything else I regularly carry around combined, and yet we're all perfectly comfortable because they're marvels of engineering (And also GPS tracked).
Don't ruin it with moving parts to break!

- PaulHoule 3y agoI’m not sure if most people really think about it but they appreciate the attributes that come from this. I had to take a trip when money was tight and got a netbook computer which had an HDD and l found out it wasn’t good to listen to music via BT headphones in my backpack or in the car because it would skip. Pop in an SSD and it is just as good as a phone for those things. (Funny I met some young people who were quite amazed that you could plug a laptop into a car stereo but that’s exactly the problem with young people today, they always want to lecture an old geezer like me that “a phone is a phone and a computer is a computer, silly” like we’ve forgotten the first principle of computer science which Turing discovered and has bee re-proven by video game emulation that one computer is the same as any other computer.)
