Updates to the GitHub Feed
- mxmlnkn 3y agoDoes anyone know how I can restore the old behavior?
- twp 3y agoSeconded. The new feed is simply awful in every respect.
- dzaima 3y agoFor now I guess I'm only using the feed in FastHub-RE (https://github.com/LightDestory/FastHub-RE https://github.com/LightDestory/FastHub-RE), but that's for Android. I'm hoping that by like tomorrow it's reverted anyway.
- twp 3y agoTurns out you can see the old feed at https://github.com/dashboard-feed https://github.com/dashboard-feed
- mxmlnkn 3y agoThank you so much!
- HellsMaddy 3y agoSomeone created a userscript to restore it, works great for me so far: https://github.com/Gerrit0/old-github-feed https://github.com/Gerrit0/old-github-feed
- mxmlnkn 3y agoI love it! Works fine for me.
- chazeon 3y agoI expect the old behavior is to see other people's stars, but when I filter only the stars, there is no entries there.
- bencevans 3y agoI'm not sure i'm unusual in using the GitHub feed to keep an eye on commit activity on watched repos, all of a sudden there's no option to see push activity in the feed. o.O
- falsandtru 3y agoThis is the third time GitHub has enforced annoying useless spam feed.
