- satvikpendem 3y agoIt's true that for library maintainers that TypeScript has been somewhat annoying, where many are now moving back to JS with JSDoc based types, but I'm not sure why one would replace application level code with pure JS. Basecamp likely already use Rails for the logic so I guess they don't need that much typing on the frontend. But yes, generally DHH seems too absolutist in his takes.

- simlevesque 3y agoHow is the "pay once" pricing related to not wanting TS in his project ? Because it happened the same day ?
