Toyota Stops Car Assembly Lines After Server Runs Out of Disk Space
- Terr_ 3y agoIn fairness to Toyota IT, this wasn't a gradual chronic fill-up (which is easier to monitor-for and preempt) but related to a "database reorganization." I imagine the way to guard against that would be to pre-test on a staging server with a copy of the data, or at least a similarly bulky version.
