Misogyny to me is hatred of women. It exists, but is a pretty rare condition. Same as the reverse of course. Prejudices might exist, but that is much more dependent on your respective social circle and culture and cannot be generalized.
The article indirectly criticises the concept of using sex distribution in the workplace or economic influence as a metric for discrimination by policy and is pretty much on point with invalidating the underlying chain of reasoning. It also explains hypocritical applications of this reasoning as just working in one direction with this overall arbitrary line. For that matter, this creates numerous disadvantageous side effects too, but that is another topic. So it isn't even helping and discrimination increased. Discrimination of individuals that have to endure a disadvantage because of their sex. That is real sexism.
You cannot just extrapolate your behavior to other people, it is your responsibility to take care of that and it might not be a systemic effect at all. You can make up with that with the individuals that were disadvantaged in your case, not with the whole of womanhood.
