Ikea has a range of quality options. Some of their budget offering are very poor quality and will eventually fail with even mild use. However, they do also sell some nicer quality furniture that will absolutely stand up to abuse.
- sershe 3y agoI still have a Lack side table (the only Ikea name that makes sense in English too) and a 1-2 bottom-tier cheapest chairs that are at least 10 years old and maybe more... or e.g. Malm bed of similar age (I think that is the cheapest beds they have), we don't use it anymore cause we wanted to have a padded headboard. They are all totally fine and I've moved with them a few times.
