Why is logging so damn hard?
- theamk 3y agoBlogpost about how logging is hard, authored by logging SAAS vendor. Paragraphs end with "it’s time to sign up for a SaaS and make it someone else’s problem." The fun part is blog post mentions actual logging anti-patterns, like "Someone logged in a loop with 2000 iterations per request" but their solution is... you "sign up for our SaaS". Yeah, that's not gonna help.
