Seems a bit short sighted to close the helium reserve and sell it off. The last 3 years have taught the value of having some slack in the supply chain.

- Symmetry 3y agoHopefully however gets these facilities will buy helium when its cheap and sell it when its expensive to provide just that sort of slack in the supply chain. My understanding is that strategic helium stockpile was just to make sure we have enough helium for our the US's use in the event of a war.
