India’s beach paradise Goa is overrun with digital nomads
- NoZebra120vClip 3y agoI watch a lot of digital nomads posting their Ws on LinkedIn, and for the life of me, I just can't understand why or how someone could just sit and work on a beach. How far are you from WiFi or an Ethernet cable and power? How much sand falls into your ventilation vents? It's sunny and there's glare and there's a ton of bikinied distractions. I can understand working near a beach and then going there on a break, for a quick dip. I don't know if these digital nomad photos are accurate when they've just set up their notebook with a Mai Tai on a restaurant patio, 25 meters from the rolling surf. I vastly prefer WFH, with all creature comforts, no AirBnB to worry about, quiet solitude. It's good for me.

Also a bit passe, even a generation ago it was dated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hhzAgAzSr4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hhzAgAzSr4
