Can someone who owns a Glove80 do a sound demonstration video please? Ive looked on youtube and there is not much out there. One of the main reasons I couldn’t get adjusted to using the Ergodox EZ was due to how it sounds.
- dcre 3y agoI changed my Ergodox’s switches to some nice silents and put it on a desk pad and it was a lot better.
- processunknown 3y agoI might do that. I have Cherry MX Browns. I bought case foam and pcb foam for dampening. Could only install the pcb foam since it wouldn’t close with both. It didn’t make much of a difference. I do have a desk pad but I tent the keeb
- sli 3y agoBrowns (and Clears, my preference) are pretty darn loud in my experience despite being only tactile and not also clicky. You can help with O-rings, but I agree with the above commenter that silent switches are probably an ideal solution. Well, assuming they meant to imply that.
