While there was full disclosure about flexible implants from a recent surgery, I had a rod inserted in my tibia in 2006 and they haven't told me its composition. I like to joke that it's Adamantium, or me pirate peg leg, yarr. But it's probably titanium. It definitely hasn't given me trouble at airport inspection points.
