I don’t think the article is a good intro to svelte or gives you much sense of using it. The title is positively incoherent. You’d be better off going through the main site’s tutorial. And since you’d presumably be interested in building full web apps as well, take a look at the sveltekit site and docs as well. The idea that there’s nothing to learn is nonsense. It’s not large and I think it’s straightforward, but there are various things to learn. IMO, the strength is that you write your HTML in HTML albeit with a simple templating extension, the reactive JS/TS is in the same context, and the reactivity model is simple/predictable and performs well (at least in my experience).
