My Treo could hold quite a few bus schedules (the Caltrain schedule, too!). And it had a very crappy web browser (by today's standards) that worked "okay" for mostly text pages. Jeff Hawkins even used it to buy a book from Amazon as a test. I think my point is pre-iPhone phones weren't completely crappy. I still sort of miss the danger hiptops.
