I began to think that we should see LLMs just as another kind of programming model to be potentially embedded into existing systems. Nothing more, nothing less. This might sound like a trivial conclusion at first, but as a community we should find some kind of common understanding without playing down its potential usefulness nor riding the hype train some people want us to jump on.
