Next time you don't read an article, please keep it to yourself.
- teh_klev 3y agoI think you got the wrong end of the stick with that guideline. It's intended for folks who accuse others of not having read the article, not for self admission that one didn't read the article. Also the article is behind a paywall and even with all my own usual tricks I can't get at it to read in any sensible way (even archive.is). In this case the article's topic is fairly obvious that you could legitimately comment here.
- morelisp 3y agoIt seems unfair if you can accuse yourself of not having read the article but not someone else.
- TheDong 3y ago> all my own usual tricks I can't get at it to read in any sensible way archive.org works fine for it for me. Does the following work for you? https://web.archive.org/web/20230904034416/https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2023/08/07/dining/cooking-videos-tiktok.html https://web.archive.org/web/20230904034416/https://www.nytim...
- teh_klev 3y agoHow odd, my first attempt with archive.org didn't work (I got a blank page). Seems to work now, thank you.

- 9991 3y agoIf one reads my comment carefully, they will notice I did not comment on whether robomartin read any future Hacker News article. I will not comment on whether you read my comment.
- robertlagrant 3y agoFor sure. The guideline isn't about reading any future Hacker News article.
