You can redirect to /watch?v=<contentid> and then scrub, which is what I always change the URL to if I need to send a link to someone else, but this is a pain to change manually. (Auto-Redirect Short To "Normal" Video URL would be a good extension if I knew how to do one or had time to learn.)
