GUNHED – English dub version (1989) [video]
- gerikson 3y agoAh, so that's where the security van's name in Gibson's Virtual Light is from. Man that book had so many references that I missed because no internet.
- zzzbra 3y agolet's go! I used to get so hyped for the trailer to this on some bootleg tokusatsu VHS I would watch back in the late 90s, never actually saw it
- wiz21c 3y agoFrontLine Assembly's Mindphaser clip was a big rip of this movie ! And what a clip it was !
- cfkos 3y agoWell they used all good parts from the movie in the video. I remember being quite disappointed when I finally got to see the full movie (on VHS!)
- blipvert 3y agoTactical Neural Implant is the bomb! Total Terror, State Of Mind - I can listen to FLA all day long (literally, the back catalogue is vast)

- atebyagrue 3y agoOh man. Great find! I stumbled across this a few months ago while researching gritty 90's BLJ + mirrorshades cyberpunk for a game setting I'm working on (pre-the current cyan + magenta synth-pop conceptualization). If you end up liking GUNHED, some others that might be up your alley to look up: Hardware (1990), 964 Pinnocchio (1991), Testsuo: The Iron Man (1989), and Burst City (1982).
- mindcrime 3y agoIf you end up liking GUNHED, some others that might be up your alley to look up: Hardware (1990), 964 Pinnocchio (1991), Testsuo: The Iron Man (1989), and Burst City (1982). I just saw Burst City about a month ago; the other three you mention are on my list. Basically, I put together a big list of cyberpunk + "cyberpunk adjacent" movies and I'm must slowly working my way through the entire list. Not doing it strictly in chronological order, but in a loose sense I'm mostly working my way from older to newer... just allowing myself to jump around a little here and there.
