Why would a low-cost electronics contract manufacturer with factories in China and South East Asia suddenly make a factory in Wisconsin, USA?
The factory was never going to happen. It was all about political favors.
- kevin_thibedeau 3y agoThey were going to produce LCD panels. Presumably Detroit auto companies would find value contracting with them. Otherwise there's no point in making something to be shipped back to SEA for assembly.
