Both Apache OpenOffice and LibreOffice are descendents of the original OpenOffice (what you're probably thinking about.)
LibreOffice is under very active development and can be downloaded from https://www.libreoffice.org/ https://www.libreoffice.org/
Apache OpenOffice is effectively abandonware at this point, see https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Product_Release https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Product_Release It's mostly been maintenance releases since 2013.
If you want LibreOffice with support (or just want to support development), you probably want Collabora.
