I’ve observed the same pattern in corporate world with folks which are close to promotion stage. Nice people suddenly become bitter and very hard to work with.

I’ve observed the same pattern in corporate world with folks which are close to promotion stage. Nice people suddenly become bitter and very hard to work with. Only the best stay nice.
- taneq 3y agoPossibly by that stage they’ve been passed over a few times for (what they see as) spurious reasons in favour of less deserving colleagues.
