The shop I go to offers a 50¢ discount to people who bring their own coffee cup. It's not that hard from a hygiene perspective: they have the cashier (who is already handling "dirty" money) walk over and fill the cup. (I drink black coffee so I don't know if that applies to the specialty drinks; those are made by someone else.)
