For snoozing I use http://www.iwantsandy.com http://www.iwantsandy.com. Works really well - just forward the email and add "r me in two days", and two days later you get an email with a reminder. For private notes, I forward the mail to myself and add notes in the body, and Gmail recognizes it as part of the same conversation.
