Time to setup a URL shortener in a different country that all the links go to instead of the news sites.
- jimcsharp 3y agoI was thinking about that. A site like that wouldn't meet all the tests of eligibility in the bill, but it would probably not meet the eligibility to be copyright exempt for one reason or another. That's as much as I've thought of that. The thing at issue is not URLs, it is these sites' ability to pull and serve above the fold content. I think that's something the term "link tax" is obfuscating.
