Hardly anyone will actually return anything but they get to cover their asses by doing this.
- yorwba 3y agoEat the cookies, return the packaging? After all, it's an issue with the packaging that resulted in the recall.
- mcguire 3y agoOdds are, if a consumer asked they would tell the consumer to just throw the packaging away. In fact, that's probably what they would tell a retailer.
- anon____ 3y agoConsumers won't return it, but the stores will, in bulk. That's a lot of lost food because they can't repack or relabel it.
- bombcar 3y agoThe recall could instruct the stores to cover the offending URL with a sticker. But they’ll just say “toss ‘em”.
