I think the author's strong bias undercuts her claims. If she came off as a neutral observer predicting the studios would lose - I would listen. Instead, she seems stridently pro-writer and actor and against the studios - so why should I trust her analysis? Not that there's much analysis in the article - mostly it seems to be rhetoric. Personally, I haven't even noticed the strike. The stuff I watch is mainly YouTube and TikTok and when I do watch TV I can easily go back into the massive catalog of shows I haven't got to yet.
