Double Commander is the closest. Basically a clone of TC. Not as polished, still good. Beware, there multiple different builds for mac, some are good, some are bad P.S. i don't remember which one is better https://sourceforge.net/projects/doublecmd/files/macOS/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/doublecmd/files/macOS/ https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/site/eng/snapshots.php https://doublecmd.sourceforge.io/site/eng/snapshots.php P.P.S. I’ve been happy with nimble commander - https://magnumbytes.com/ https://magnumbytes.com/ Available on the Mac App Store - recommend getting the pro version if you need the features. Actively developed.

There are several, one I've used which is kinda similar but not 100% the same is ForkLift

Marta with single key home-row navigation and other commands is the best Mac file manager, but it's also lacking important features :(

There are couple which will have two panels by default, but in my opinion, ForkLift is very native macOS commander-like app -- https://binarynights.com https://binarynights.com
