The NYPD promises an officer will respond to a noise complaint within 8 hours, and only if there are no other emergencies. That’s a terrible SLA. A drone can probably respond to five calls an hour since it doesn’t get stuck in traffic. Recording a back yard in NYC, where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy (it’s visible from everywhere), from a drone which has probable cause (a complaint) seems perfectly reasonable.
