Totally agree. You’ve done a great job articulating my feelings on the matter as someone who writes a lot of TF day in and day out (end user, not an integrator/consultant/etc). Follow the money. Without a workable IaC tool a lot of the backing companies’ business models fail. That’s why they’re treating this like the final act of Les Miserables. HC has done a lot of great work with TF but left themselves open to this competition by not providing better value consulting services or pricing around TF cloud.
