You're basing this on what exactly ?
- croes 3y agoBecause they have little or no problem working with dictatorial governments. This was also the case with countries in South America and Africa. And people like Musk alread behave like dictators.
- misiti3780 3y agoPlease provide a list of powerful people based in the US that own multinational companies that publicly do not work with dictatorial governments.
- croes 3y agoWhy should I provide counter examples of my statement? What do you think why companies went to China in the first place? Because of the great environmental and human rights?
- misiti3780 3y agoTesla isnt the only company that went to China, why is this such a big concern - I bet you are using an iphone made in china.
- croes 3y agoFirst, you lost your bet. Second I could criticize Apples business in China even if I would use an iPhone. Third, I wrote people like Musk, that already says I don't mean Tesla only but all the companies that don't have a problem exploiting people in countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Russia etc. Just look how well VW played together with Pinochet in Chile.

- account-5 3y agoGenerally the onus is on the person making the claim to prove the claim.
- croes 3y agoMy claim is that powerful people that own multinational companies work with dictatorial governments but parent asked to show list of such people who don't work with them. That's the opposite of my claim.
- Barrin92 3y agoHe has the dubious distinction of being the first foreigner to write a fluff piece for China's state internet censor. Particularly funny given his posturing on speech.
- misiti3780 3y agoNon-Chinese citizens have control over China's state internet censoring.
