"When I worked on Android security there was one project I wanted to sabotage."

I wish a Googler would sabotage YouTube making it a premium feature to be able to listen to YouTube with the screen turned off on Android. It's environmentally unfriendly, resulting in degraded lifetime of batteries and wasted electricity.

You won't be able to see the ads with screen turned off.

"Goodwill is incredibly hard to build up and very easy to destroy. This change tells developers that we do not support apps that are “finished” and never updated. It tells our users their apps they’re looking for may suddenly stop being available for them to install." Correct on all counts. There is no goodwill. Tank is empty. May Google burn.
