If you can give your kid a decent, secure hand-me-down or sell your 2 year old device for 50% of orig. price you are saving both money and environment in these respects. That said it is a decent reflection 'do I really need a new one' but a lot of people (esp poor ppl) run around with insecure devices, a shame.
