Wasnt it maybe OpenAIs switch to GPT3.5 and locking GPT4? I remember not realizing for a while and thinking, damn this thing is getting more and more stupid, i give it 3 prompts, and it forgets 1, then i correct it on that 1 and it forgets the other 2. Generally, people can tell the difference after a while and it looses its wow factor, me thinks.
