I think the point is that if people like him didn't keep buying new phone unnecessarily, then there would be less phone being manufactured unnecessarily. The fact that he sells it on doesn't change that.
- bombcar 3y agoMore likely supply would just be constrained - up to some point. Just like the supply of housing isn’t increased unless more people buy new ones. Of course, at some point people start throwing working phones away.
