Why would they only accept credit cards? Stripe can do IDEAL just fine. Getting a card just for this service is a waste of money.

Why would they only accept credit cards? Stripe can do IDEAL just fine. Getting a card just for this service is a waste of money.
- fooker 3y agoIt costs a lot less to reverse or cancel credit card transactions. Also all sorts of insurances and financial products are just available for credit card transactions. Unless you are a bank or something similar, it makes complete sense to just support credit cards.
- 6510 3y agoiDEAL transactions are final. We are really spoiled in the Netherlands with such a simple system. If you want your money back you write to the merchant. If you rent a server to do some calculations (hallucinations) for you you would have to prove the digital product was not what you've ordered. You are free to give refunds when you like of course.
