One place I worked had been using a Google Map, but switched to Bing when the price went up. The Bing map had a banner on it saying they needed a license key, so they just hid the banner with CSS! I came in a few years later and replaced the whole thing with Leaflet+Carto, but it was pretty funny code archeology to see "Hmm, why is this crazy CSS class here. Oh…"
