It died a long time ago, it was called lunarstorm, it was during the golden age of these sites, people had "profiles" and "pages" and wrote html on them. There was some structure to the quirkyness. These days, I don't know.. I guess I use facebook the most, but it's not that I enjoy it in particular. Is HN a social network? I guess it lacks the networking part.. Otherwise, for interactions with strangers online, I think HN and random IRC channels are my favorites.
