Time to finish rewriting all code to be event driven, io_uring, etc.
- convolvatron 3y agoin this kind of architecture, its generally more fruitful to leave the asynchrony to the hardware. the tera mta, which other people have mentioned has/had hardware synchronization in the memory system to effect this. there were no interrupts, just a thread waiting for someone to wake it up.
