Google Details TPUv4 and Its Crazy Optically Reconfigurable AI Network
- cameron_b 3y agoIn the interconnect mapping, I'm reminded of the Connection Machines' hypercube architecture. The immediate next thought is, "So how do you make use of all that in some coherent way?" I'm sure there's an `import TPUv4 / TPUv4.doit()` example, but what does this thing do? And I'm asking because I'm sincerely interested, not skeptical.
