We have reached peak authoritarism I see.
It's a shame that a country of 1.4B can't produce a competent opposition.
- dartharva 3y agoAll governments in the world are capable of ordering the likes of Twitter and YouTube to censor or remove content if they wish to operate in their jurisdiction. This is nothing new.
- webmobdev 3y agoIndia has a competent opposition. But any competent opposition is limited in democratically fighting an authoritarian regime that doesn't subscribe to democratic values.
- two_in_one 3y agoWho can? Most countries are ruled by the same groups for decades, or by mobs temporarily. In some there is an illusion of opposition. Like in Russia 'opposition' is being played by actors. With a few real, but they don't live long.
