- user_7832 3y agoIt would be great if Dang or a moderator or probably the poster of this post could update the title to reflect that he passed away a few days ago.
- sgaur 3y agoAlways used to think about him while travelling on this beautiful road in Hyderabad. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Professor+CR+Rao+Rd,+Hyderabad,+Telangana/@17.460849,78.3342955,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x3bcb9300a7f5dcb3:0xb9fe111385edc8a2!8m2!3d17.460849!4d78.3368704!16s%2Fg%2F11g_p9r5j?entry=ttu https://www.google.com/maps/place/Professor+CR+Rao+Rd,+Hyder... One of the few times I've seen roads named after academicians and scientists.
- fractalb 3y agoIIRC, the statistics department in the UoH is also named after him. edit: fixed typo
- moelf 3y agoCERN campus in Geneva is full of roads named after physicists: https://goo.gl/maps/t1x4MBXwXKE1mdGb9 https://goo.gl/maps/t1x4MBXwXKE1mdGb9 but I guess those are more internal roads :P
- tomjakubowski 3y agoIrvine, California! Michelson Dr, Millikan Ave, Von Karman Ave, Kelvin Ave. And Millikan runs parallel to Hale and Noyes. These streets named after scientists are easily the most interesting thing about living in Irvine.
- ketanmaheshwari 3y agoAmazing works and life! How I wish other mathematicians like Ramanujan and Mirzakhani lived such a long life.
