Are you kidding? The NHS had £16bn thrown down the toilet the first time it tried to join the 21st century. Why has nobody told them to have a bespoke, OSS setup which runs on VM's which can be transferred to new hardware when necessary?
Public health is not somewhere you make silly choices because "nobody ever got fired for buying X". It's the place where you absolutely make sure you're using the state of the art encryption (reencrypted every time the state of the art moves on), and 100% best practice firewalling.
Or am I just one guy who knows nothing?
