Like social media ruined the world despite it's initial promises, like crypto ended up with grifters of all kinds, AI will follow.
Yes, there are some narrow applications that will be GOOD. But will the good outweigh the bad? No, not at all. It never has.
We'd all be happier as a society if we went back in time.

- incrudible 3y agoNuclear apocalypse risk is not a linear function of warheads. There is still more than enough warheads to cause near total annihilation and politically, we are closer to it than at any point in the 80s.
