just figured out the rather “strange” choice of port number on VITE
if we take into account that 1 looks like “I”, 3 looks like “e” (somehow), 4 looks like “A” and so on, and also remember about roman numerals we'll have:
V → 5 (roman numeral)
I → 1
T → 7
E → 3
quite clever tbh

- CaptainCook42 3y agoi actually heard this name before but only knew it as “hacker language” (????), which sounds like a mainstream form of it, and makes sense since i read it on a newspaper
