This seems really cool, but I guess most companies in the EU won't dare to use this due to GDPR concerns and instead will opt-in for the Azure version, where you can choose to use GPT-models that are hosted in Azure's EU servers.
- simonw 3y agoI'd be surprised if OpenAI didn't offer "and we'll run it on EU servers for you, too" as part of a $1m+ deal. Surprising it didn't make the initial launch announcement though.
- brookladdy 3y agoCurrently, GPT-4 is not even available anymore for new customers at the only EU location they offer (France Central).
