Operation Overlord:
United States 124,394 casualties; 20,668 killed
United Kingdom ~65,000 casualties; 11,000 killed; 54,000 wounded or missing

- Tagbert 3y agoThat sounds like the posting title is wrong about the relative number of deaths.
- chillstreem 3y agoOne should be comparing with Operation Neptune, not Overlord.
- icegreentea2 3y agoFirst day casualties for the allies are in the 10k range. Title is still off.
