I have a 2600 with a ton of cartridges. The cost of hooking it up to a HDMI TV set or monitor is expensive. It would be more cost effective to buy the 2600+ and play my 2600 carts on it.
I used to restore 2600 systems, usually they need cleaning because of all the dirt and dust on the connectors and cartridge's strips.
