There are some spots near San Jose where I have to spit out the mosquitoes because they are so dense around my face and they just fly in my mouth while I am cycling and other places not far away where there are none attracted to me when I stop moving - one place where the mosquitoes swarm around me happens is anywhere along Stevens Creek (the creek not the road) up to skyline road and when I cross skyline road at the ridge line there is nothing like that on the ocean side just across the street.
