What is the reason that high speed Internet is not more widely available in these locations? Could people work remotely if there was good Internet?
- ekianjo 3y agoMaybe but not in Japan since Japan loves the workplace culture and the drinking addiction that goes with it
- fomine3 3y agoActually FTTH is mostly available even in rural area, except it's very rural in the mountains. Also you know now Starlink is available. Though I rarely see story anyone use Starlink in Japan rural house, but often see enthusiasts in Tokyo use instead.
