In one instance they charter a ship to go to the middle of the ocean to sink a big magnet to the ground, the objective being to collect fragments from another suspected extra-solar meteorite. They did manage to drag up sub-millimeter spherules which they then test for properties. What kind of jumping to conclusions is this? Comments an astronomer how questionable it is the material is from that specific asteroid in the first place. Space stuff has been raining down into the atmosphere and the seven seas continuously for billions of years, right. Also, how exact can an estimate of the point of entry into ocean be given it happened in the middle of nowhere? There also currents and so on.
