Kind of disagree with this, which seems outdated given that it becomes easier and easier to implement best practices. Setting up CI/CD for a basic MVP is trivial, making it super easy to contribute makes iterations faster than just working on "product fit"
- Zetice 3y agoYou'd be surprised by how few people find "Set up CI/CD for a basic MVP" a trivial task.
- tbrownaw 3y agoMore surprised than by how many people supposedly can't do FizzBuzz? It should take what, fifteen minutes on a familiar stack and up to a day or maybe two on something very unfamiliar that needs lots of web searches?
- Zetice 3y ago"Should"? Or else what, they don't get the gold star you hand out every month to devs you consider "worthy"? A dev can go an entire career never having needed to set up a CI/CD pipeline on their own.
